Birthday Girl!!

That's me. I am now 34. I love it, of course. I have worked for every one of those years. I am so happy to accept the white stripes in my hair and the lines around my eyes. They rock. I am now only one year younger than Kenneth. I am 34 and he is 35. I have had a fun and busy birthday week. On Monday I got my hair done, by the wonderful Sarah Hardman. She had twins 7 months ago and so doesn't do hair as often as she used to, but was able to fit me in. Thank goodness. I love my short hair. I gave my long ponytail to Locks of Love. Kenneth loves my hair short, so he has been very complimentary with his words and his eyes. The haircut & color were my main birthday gifts. I also got to go to my book club on the 13th, which I love so much. It's so fun and such a great time talking with my ladies. Good conversation and yummy food, such a wonderful combination. Friday I went out to lunch with some of my girlfriends. We always have so much fun lunching and it was a cute new restaurant. Kenneth and I were supposed to go out for dinner Friday night, but I wasn't feeling well so I took a bath and went to bed instead. I didn't mind at all. Thanks to all the people that sent happy thoughts my way, wall messages, e-mails and phone calls. Happy birthday to me. It was a great day and looks to be an amazing year.
