WE ARE #1!!!!!

Front Row l-r: Katie, Aimee, Jerilynn, Melissa, Rebecca
Back Row l-r: Kahea, Rhonda, Tori, Shannon, Me, Carrie, Katie

Our ward softball team won Regionals tonight. Okay, to say it is our ward softball team is a stretch as it was actually 3 wards combined. Which is hilarious as the wards together had approx. 42 people on the rosters. However, we forfeited a lot. Meaning we had trouble getting 8 people out of the 42 to show up for games. It was basically the same people and we had a blast. I'm actually so glad we were able to be combined and that I was able to play with old friends (Tori, and Carrie) and get to know new friends (all the rest).

Awesome. We are the comback queens. We had two outs in the last inning and we were down by 2. We scored 3 runs to lead by one. We then totally shut them down. 3 up/3 down. We played the other ward from our stake that made it to Regionals for the championship. We hear that we will be getting t-shirts proclaiming our prowess. I was hoping to get it tonight so that I could wear it to church on Sunday so everyone would know that we are #1.

Next we move onto volleyball, at which I leave much to be desired. I have not signed up in years past because of the fact that I'm not great. However, I was inspired by the women that played on the softball teams even though they were not great. They were there participating and supporting their team. So I am going to do that with all the sports. I encourage everyone to participate even if you are not great. It is worth it.

Congrats to team KeHighBack. WE ROCK!!

Congratulations!

But, just so you know, there is no way you will ever get me out to play team sports. I'm way past subjecting myself to optional humiliation in those fields. But have fun! :)

Nice job. Way to represent our ward!! I really love sports, but I do better as a fan than a player.

Good job! I know I'm a loser for not coming, but really you probably would be like number 7 if I did.

I'm so jealous! I wish they had ward/stake sports down here. Nothing. Nada. Looks like a great time!

Nice! Congrats, guys! I would in all seriousness have joined the team if Jim hadn't already committed to the guys softball. I wouldn't say I'm particularly good at any sport, but I can hit a ball. Now volleyball is another story entirely. I cannot hit a volleyball. Sorry.
