The names have been changed to protect the oh, so guilty. This is also a warning to you that you might want to avoid this location until you can be sure it has been thoroughly sanitized.By now you all know my son, The Peeing Bandito, from this previous post. He gets older everyday, so of course everyday I get more comfortable in the fact that he won't do this horrible, socially unacceptable thing again. Apparently, I can keep dreaming. The picture is of Skippy John Jones. He's a character in a book that my kids love. How I wish that my little Bandito had taken the time to throw on a mask before he did his business in yet another public place.
Here's the story. We were at the Lehi McDonald's with friends yesterday when Oreo came up to say that one of the other children had peed in his pants and kept playing so it was on the slide and everything. We decided it was time to go. Well, the peed in pants child informed me that Bandito has peed as well. I looked at Banditos pants and they were not wet, so I was confused. I said to Peed in Pants that Bandito's pants weren't wet. He then informed me that Bandito had pulled down his pants and peed. ?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!! What?!!!!! I look at my small, cute, innocent Bandito and very calmly asked, "Did you pee in the play area?" "No," he innocently answered. I asked again, still very calm, "Did you?" He lowered his eyes and whispers, "Yes." "Where?" He points to the top of the play area. So what is the course of action to be taken here? Run away as fast as possible? Tell the appropiate authorities so that the proper course of action can be taken? Walk away slowly talking nonchalantly acting as if nothing is amiss? After having ascertained that my child had indeed relieved himself on the play equipment I felt I needed to let the workers there at McDonald's know what had happened. There was a woman mopping the floor in the playroom so I told her that the children had an accident in the slide area. She looked slightly confused at that. I then clarified by saying that the boys had peed in the top of the play area and on the slides. She looked at me and said, "OK." Now, I will not tell you that the "OK" in any way meant that she was going to clean it up, but I did my bit in letting her know. I then informed Bandito that he is never allowed back in McDonald's. He, of course, cried at that, because he does love to play there. I guess we'll just have to go to Carl's Jr. the next time he wants to use a public bathroom. If you know what I mean, and I think you do.

Oh my word! I laughed so hard when I read your post! I'm sure it is not the first time that happened up there....nor will it be the last...I have just never really thought of it when my kids are crawling around up there!
oohh, yikes. As if the kids running around with ketchup and grease on their hands and stinky feet aren't bad enough. Those places gross me out - and this is the clincher! Thanks for the warning! :)
hahaha...thank you for the warning. we will take our play times elsewhere! :)...and can you make sure and post any other places that you and the bandito have been recently? :) so sorry for you...at least it wasn't poo! :)
that last comment was from Sarah...on my dad's computer. clearly I have problems. :)
Oh my! Thanks for validating my phobias about germs and stuff.
I'm so sorry, but I just can't stop laughing. Oh man. If Elijah pulled that I think I'd still be yelling. And probably laughing. Which I still am.
LOL! Thanks for letting me know where it is so we can stay away for a while! THAT IS FUNNY, but I am sure you weren't laughing.
So funny..I can say that because I'm not the mom...I knew there was a reason why we never play in those things..
Ohhhhhhh, I could feel your embarrassment in your writing!!! I have yet to experience something like that, although one of my boys has wet his pants in public before. I can't believe the McD's staff reacted so calmly, must not be that uncommon unfortunately!
Man...some people's kids! I feel it is my duty to create a "Wanted: Peeing Bandito" poster for McDonald's walls. I'm sure everybody would appreciate it. Do you have a picture you could send me?
I am crying laughing so hard....I guess I left too soon! Thanks for making my day!
So painfully funny. I'll steer clear of Mickey D's for awhile... :) Isaac dropped his shorts and peed on the flowers at the temple once. We all may roast in you-know-where for that one.
Thank you, Marie, that makes me happy.
It's taken me 3 days to finally leave a comment because I'm laughing so hard. And still laughing!
I'd be grossed out if I didn't know how cute and innocent your bandito is. Won't he love these stories in 15 years? That is, of course, if he isn't still peeing in public places. :)
That is FUNNY! You are a good citizen, because I think I would have run away as fast as I could. Maybe without the Bandito:)
