Ingrid Michaelson


I love little Miss Ingrid Michaelson. I don't know if you are familiar with her. You can turn on my playlist to get a little taste. It doesn't have any songs from her most recent album, but you have probably heard some of the songs just not knowing it was her. Her songs are very chill, fun and singable with great lyrics. I have been cleaning my blinds and bathrooms to her new album this last week and I absolutely love it and highly recommend it. I listened to it on shuffle and repeat for hours and hours.

So tell me do what is your favorite new album? What is your favorite cleaning music?

I've just been discovering Iron and Wine recently and enjoying it (not new music, but new to me).

For cleaning, I usually go for my 80's dance playlist on my ipod. Or The Beatles.
The kids always request "rock and roll songs" for our big cleaning times - which for us means something dance-able, like the Beatles, played very loud.

I am in desperate need of updating and expanding my music reportiore, though, so I love getting recommendations! Got any more? :)

My new favorite song is Say Hey by Michael Franti & Spearhead. I like it so much that when it was playing on the radio this morning when my alarm clock went off I didn't even hit snooze. Till the song finished, that is.
