We have brains. You are not getting anything past us. We can see that the cartons are getting smaller. We can see that the cost is higher. We are not fooled by the going down in size a little at a time. We know that we used to get 2 quarts. We know that we used to get 1.75 quarts. We know that we are currently getting 1.5 quarts for the same price we were getting the 1.75 and previous to that the 2 quarts. As a devoted ice cream consumer I wish that I could say that your dishonesty and deceit will no longer be tolerated and you have lost a customer. Who would I be kidding? I am that frog in the room temperature pot of cream, sugar and artificial flavorings, slowly churning until I'm stuck in a frozen tub of ice cream. You have your icy, silky, delicious hooks in me and I succumb to your tasty goodness, no matter the cost.To my readers: The cost does matter. I only buy whatever ice cream is on sale.

Cute post...This one made us not buy it anymore. I know, how sad! But, it was a good thing. Since I only like this brand of ice cream, I buy others and simply don't eat it at all. Thanks Dryers! Now if I could get over Pepsi dropping 4 cans...

Yeah what is it with ice cream these days? I took Carter to a gelato place in PC for a special treat only to pay $3.50 for seriously the smallest cup you have ever seen!

You could try going off of sugar. I thought I'd never stop eating ice cream! I have this great recipe using coconut milk :)... but that's another story.

I'm with you, I will never stop buying ice cream, but I will continue to complain about the price:) We went to a Jazz game the other night and paid TWENTY DOLLARS for each person in the fam to have their own ice cream ( the smallest size, too). Then of course, everyone only actually eats like half...
