Exhibit A: Ian's lip. He was playing on a mountain of snow from the plowing of the parking lot at the elementary school. Someone pushed him, not maliciously, and voila, you have a fat lip. The next morning it was twice as big as this. The crazy eyes are just a bonus for the picture taking. Being the nice mom that I am I didn't make him go to school the next day with a lip as big as his face.
Exhibit B: Orion's eye. Orion went sledding with a friend and his family. While the dad was getting the baby unstrapped from the car the older kids headed straight for the hill and Orion headed straight into a picnic table. Nice. It's this little hill next to the playground and his sled kept moving across the sidewalk and into the table. So the whole sledding trip lasted about 5 minutes as they promptly brought him home. He was very upset. Luckily his glasses didn't break or anything. The dad of the friend felt so bad. I felt bad for him. It could have happened to me or any other adult except for Kenneth. Kenneth's sure that it wouldn't have happened if he had been there. Anyway, Orion was fine and I think he mostly liked the attention and the cool colors that his skin turned. Naughty snow. Why are you beating up my children? They love you.
