Iron Man Review

We saw Iron Man this past weekend. I am a comic book movie fan. They have to be really bad, i.e. The Fantastic Four, for me not to enjoy them. This was one that was not hard to enjoy. It was very fun. Robert Downey Jr. was great and so funny. Terrence Howard was funny as well. I was a little worried about how well Gwyneth Paltrow was going to do, but she did a great job, beautiful and amusing. The action was amazing. The cars were sweet. The special effects were unbelievable. It's pretty violent, definitely not for kids. Visually breathtaking. Before his life changing kidnapping Tony Stark is pretty misogynistic, so be prepared for a few inappropriate moments with stupid, low self-esteemed women. Kenneth would also like you to know that the product placement in the movie is blatant and ridiculous. I love the summer movie season and I think this one is going to be fairly expensive for us. Thank goodness we got our stimulus package so we won't have to miss a thing. Next up, Speed Racer & Prince Caspian.

Thanks for the review! Dave and I are going to try and see it this weekend. I wasn't sure about the movie, because I'm not a big fan of Robert Downey Jr. I like to see comic book movies as well and thanks to your review and some things I've heard from others, I'm really looking forward to seeing it now.
