The first time we went to the gardens with friends from the ward. I lasted about 1 hour.
The next time was after school had started so I convinced myself it would be less crowded. This time it was just me and Dylan going to the museum with Naomi and her family. Still crazy crowded.
Dylan loves the sand and water. He didn't notice that it was super crowded and he didn't seem to care as long as he was able to be super messy. 
Dylan cracked his head on the exhibit behind him here. I guess the signs that say to stay off the exhibits are there for a reason. He had a huge bump on the back of his head. So sad, but he didn't want to leave and he didn't lose consciousness or anything so we stayed. That sounds bad, but he was really fine.Point is, buy a pass or go at another time with someone that has a pass so you can get in cheaper. The little extra you may pay to go on a normal day is worth missing the crowds. A pass is extra worth it.

I agree that the day we went was way too crazy. I'll be looking into getting a pass sometime in the future. Maybe when I can convince my husband that I will actually venture out with the kids by myself and make use of it. Right now, it's just not happening.

I love Thanksgiving Point too! This is our first year to have a pass, and it is so worth it!
Yeah, I definitely decided Tuesdays were out for the rest of August after that group trip. Too crazy for me! And my membership has been worth every penny.
I love it too, so I guess I will have to spend the money and get a pass! I am sad I missed the day the ward went, I don't get off until 11:00 and you all met at 10:00...hopefully there will be more fun times so I can actually get to know a few more people.
I went to the SF Zoo on the first Monday of the Month-It was Free, I went with my sister to save money(2hr drive, gas, time, Free?-I dont think so). I will NEVER do it again! It was so busy I was going to die! But, I like Thanksgiving Point a lot, so I might take the $2 Tuesdays.
I'm with you. We've had a pass before and I LOVED it. Except we always seemed to end up there the same day as every elementary class in Utah County:)
Well, if you want to take pity on a friend who doesn't have a pass, we'd love to tag along any time to the Point. We love it too, but those $2 Tuesdays were so not worth it! Ack the craziness!
