One of the wonderful things about living here in Utah Valley is the close proximity to my parents, one of the other wonderful things about living here in Utah Valley is the close proximity to the beautiful mountains. A few Mondays ago for family home evening we went to Canyon Glen up Provo Canyon with my parents for a cookout.
Now way back in my day we would go to Canyon Glen and we would cook over open pit fires, slide on the rusty slide of death, and climb the wooden fort of splinters. My kids don't know what they are missing.
We cooked on a BBQ, they climbed the cool rock walls and we had a delicious dinner. It was a lot of fun. It was also perfect weather that day. The canyon is so beautiful.
