Orion had two wiggly front teeth for quite a while now. I don't understand this because I remember as a child wiggling my teeth as much as possible until they were under my pillow, fulfilling their purpose as my money makers. Orion's teeth were in pretty bad shape because the other teeth were already coming in from behind, so one of his teeth was sticking straight out, which drove my crazy. Supposedly I have scarred my children by pulling Ian's first tooth out with pliers. This story is told over and over, like I held him down and yanked out a tooth that wasn't ready. This is not true, the tooth was ready. So, one Sunday I was sitting next to Orion in Sacrament meeting and while listening to the speaker I was holding his head and wiggling his one tooth until it came out. A few days later I took that tooth that was sticking straight out and I wiggled it hard. It made a very scary, yet satisfying crunching noise. Later that night as I kept twisting it and wiggling it, out it popped. Was that too graphic? I never mentioned the blood. All I'm saying is that if there is a wiggly tooth in the same room as I am, I will do my best to help it fulfill it's higher purpose.

Hilarious! Tyler lost his first tooth 2 weeks ago and won't write a letter to the tooth fairy (I make the kids do that with their first so I can put it in their scrapbooks), so it is still hanging on a baggie on the fridge....
I'm a tooth-wiggler, too. My kids hate that I always want to wiggle their teeth for them. I won't use pliars, though. :)
Ew, gross. I bet you can't leave scabs alone either, huh. (Your own, I mean, I hope you don't pick your kids'!)
Oh! that is one thing that sicks me right out, wiggly teeth, can't even touch them! That and Jeremy's fingernail hanging on by a thread. I'm much better with wounds and zit popping.
I have had to hold a few kids down just to get their tooth out. They act like I am killing them! All the screaming and tears and then..."oh, it's out?"
