It was an interesting week. It started off with Dylan waking up in the middle of the night Sunday with explosive diarrhea. I love to clean up stuff like that in the middle of the night. I had meant to buy pull-ups on Saturday, but I forgot. Bath, searching for a spare pull-up, making the bed, all at 3am. Love it. I finally got back to bed at 3:43 only to be awakened by said child again. He had soiled those pull-ups so I now needed to make the 4am run to Smith's. Another favorite. Everything worked out fine. The biggest bummer was that cousins were supposed to come and play and stay the night, but I did not want to spread the plague. We did end up getting cousins for the sleepover as Dylan seemed fine and hadn't had anymore problems throughout the day. Then Wednesday Dylan threw up. What is up with this kid? No idea. Again it didn't last very long. He threw up before breakfast and then right before bed. He was fine the next day.The kids did indeed play games and watch tv until their brains started leaking from their ears. Not pretty, but I think they appreciated it. Now they are down to a shorter amount of time and they have to earn it. I didn't have any protests when the new rules were handed down.
I got sick. It was one of those colds that I couldn't muscle through. So I took a few days off. My fabulous VT brought me dinner even though she was injured herself. Jenn Maroney rocks! So we basically missed all of Pony Express Days. I got to watch a lot of chick flick movies as Kenneth was gone while I was in bed. It was enjoyable, well, as enjoyable as being sick can be. I had to cancel several things which was a bummer. I knew that I needed to take it easy though.
Here's hoping that the rest of the summer is relaxing and illness free.

That stinks you were so sick. That is no fun. You should've called me and I would've gladly done anything to help. If you ever need to get rid of Dylan and Orion for a little bit call, I know Brayden would love to play with them.
So sorry! I am guessing you are now feeling better. I hate being sick, but the thought of being forced to lie around sounds lovely!
