This is the Rawlings family: Uncle Christopher, Nana, Opa, Aunt Hanah and Theron on top of the mountain in Whistler.
Going down the alpine slide in Whistler with Opa.
View of Whistler from the lift. British Colombia's motto is"Beautiful B. C." It's true.
Uncle Christopher throwing Theron in the pool. Theron's middle name is Christopher. He was glued to Christopher all week. The time it took Theron to get back to Christopher in the pool was probably the only break Christopher had from him.
Theron and a Mountie Moose.
The next Winter Olympics will be held in Vancouver and Whistler in 2010. Here's my gold medal boy. Peace!
Opa spent the week in Canada teaching Theron how to swim. Opa used to be a competitive swimmer and so I expect my kids to come back as super swimmers.
Eating at a Fish and Chips shop on the way back to the states. Unfortunately, at this moment Christopher's car was being broken into. They took Christopher's I-Pod and Theron's backpack which held his most prized posession, his BofM. Okay, that was in there too, but his favorite thing in there was his Nintendo DS Lite and 5 games. So sad. His siblings all said that they would give him all their money so that he could buy new stuff. So nice. We'll see how long that lasts, since it's pretty easy to say it when you have no money. It's something else when the cash is in your hand. The fish and chips there are super good though. This place is in Squamish, the filming location for the ABC show "Men In Trees." I just looked that up.
On the way back to Oregon they spent a few days in Seattle where Christopher and Opa are working for Microsoft. Theron was able to go to the top of the Space Needle. So cool. He loved it.He had a blast the whole time. I'm so glad that he enjoyed himself. He tried to eat his weight in food each day and keep them running late into the night. I'm so grateful to the Rawlings for treating him like royalty. I try to do the opposite so that the contrast is so sharp that they will always be regarded with the utmost love and appreciation.
I'm extrememly happy to have my baby back. I missed him a bunch and now just want to look at him and hold him. Why won't he hold still?

That is so sad about his DS! Your kids are so sweet to offer to share with him.
