First we went to the Jordan River Temple. Kenneth and I have never done a session there. It's such a beautiful temple.
Next we went to Crown Burger. I've never been there. Kenneth and I shared a Crown Burger, fries and a shake. The shake was gross, so don't get that, but the burger and fries were crazy good. I don't think I have ever had real pastrami in my life. I've always hated the cold cut stuff, so I wasn't sure about having it on my burger. Holy Cow, I love real pastrami. Their fries were perfection and I love fry sauce.
Then we headed over to Jordan Commons to see U23D. This is a first simply because I have never seen such a freakin' cool 3-D movie. I love U2, but besides that it was just so awesome to watch. They told us this week would probably be the last, so if you are interested you need to get there before Friday.
This is the way old people watch concerts. In coushy seats, with great sound and we get to see everything WAY up close. I was deaf just like after a real concert. I was singing aloud to the songs, and no one could hear me.
The Edge is amazing. He just exudes coolness like no one else. He is such a talented musician and has aged so very well.I will have to say that this was another successful Maroney guided excursion. The Rawlings will break out of their sad sack lives yet.
